This is a personal website. I try to collect as little as possible.
What this site collects
Contact form. If you send a message, I receive your name, email address and the content of your message. I use it to reply to you. I do not sell it, rent it, or add it to a marketing list without your consent.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, I store your name and email address for the purpose of sending occasional posts. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address.
Analytics. If analytics are enabled on this site, they are configured to record aggregate traffic patterns — pages viewed, referring source, approximate region. Not names, not individual browsing histories.
Server logs. The web server records standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. These rotate and are not used to build profiles.
What this site does not do
I do not run advertising trackers, sell data to third parties, or share your details with anyone except the service providers needed to run the site — for example the email provider that delivers the newsletter.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access the data I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email contact@konfigear.com and I will action it.
Cookies
This site uses a cookie to remember your light or dark theme preference and, if applicable, your category sort order. These are stored in your browser and are not used for tracking.
